Al Quran Juz 22 – A Simple and Easy Explanation

Juz 22 (Para 22) of the Holy Quran begins from Surah Al-Ahzab (verse 31) and includes Surah Saba and Surah Fatir, and ends at the beginning of Surah Yaseen (verse 27). This Juz discusses the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the role of his family, the power and knowledge of Allah, and the proofs of the Hereafter.

Surah Al-Ahzab (Verses 31–73)

   • Muslim women are told to cover modestly.
   • It protects them and shows obedience to Allah.
4. Prophet is the Last Messenger “Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets.” (33:40)
5. Trust in Allah
   • Believers must have full tawakkul (trust) in Allah during every test.

Surah Saba (Verses 1–54)

Surah Saba talks about the blessings of Allah, especially to Prophets Dawood (David) and Sulaiman (Solomon), and how the disbelievers ignored His signs.

Key Messages:

1. Prophet Dawood and Sulaiman
   • Dawood was given the Zabur, and mountains praised Allah with him.
   • Sulaiman ruled the jinn, winds, and animals.
   • They remained grateful and used their powers for good.
2. The People of Saba
   • They had beautiful gardens and blessings.
   • But they were ungrateful, so Allah sent a flood and destroyed their land.
3. Quran Is the Truth
   • Disbelievers denied it, but the Quran is full of knowledge and guidance.
   • On the Day of Judgment, they will regret their arrogance.

“Those who strive against Our signs… will be brought to punishment.” (34:38)

Surah Fatir (Verses 1–45)

Surah Fatir means “The Originator” — reminding us that Allah created everything, and He alone controls life, death, and all blessings.

Key Lessons:

1. Allah’s Power in Creation
   • He created the heavens without pillars.
   • He gives life and takes it.
   • He controls the rain and the cycle of life.
2. Who Truly Fears Allah? “Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge…” (35:28)
   • Ulama (scholars) are those who fear Allah the most because they understand His greatness.
3. The Quran is Light
   • It gives life to hearts that are dead with sin or ignorance.
   • Allah invites all to forgiveness, but only those who are wise accept.
4. No One Can Carry Another’s Burden “No soul will bear the burden of another…” (35:18)
   • Everyone is responsible for their own actions.

Surah Yaseen (Verses 1–27)

This Surah is often called the heart of the Quran. It starts with the truth of the Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ and the message of the Quran.

Early Messages:

1. Quran Guides the Lost
   • The Quran was revealed to warn those who had no guidance before.
2. Messenger and the Town
   • A story of messengers sent to a town.
   • One believer supported them and was martyred for his faith.
   • Allah rewarded him with Paradise.

“It was said to him, ‘Enter Paradise.’ He said, ‘If only my people knew…’” (36:26)
