Al Quran Juz 27 – A Simple and Easy Explanation
Juz 27 of the Holy Quran begins from Surah Adh-Dhariyat (verse 31) and includes:

Main Themes in Juz 27
1. Surah Adh-Dhariyat (Verses 31–60)

- Allah reminds us that He created jinn and humans to worship Him.
“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (51:56)
2. Surah At-Tur (Verses 1–49)
- Talks about the certainty of the Day of Judgment.
- Describes the rewards of Paradise and the punishment of Hell.
- Answers those who mocked the Prophet ﷺ and the Quran.
“Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will surely come to pass.” (52:7)
3. Surah An-Najm (Verses 1–62)
- Defends the truthfulness of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
- Describes the Prophet’s Mi’raj (night journey).
- Declares that the Quran is not poetry or invention — it is divine revelation.
- Ends with a call to prostrate (sajdah) in worship of Allah.
“Your companion (Muhammad ﷺ) has not gone astray, nor has he erred.” (53:2)
4. Surah Al-Qamar (Verses 1–55)
- Begins with: “The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split.”
- Tells the stories of:
- Nuh (A.S.)
- Hud (A.S.)
- Salih (A.S.)
- Lut (A.S.)
- Musa (A.S.)
- These nations were destroyed for denying their prophets.
“And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?” (54:17, repeated 4 times)
5. Surah Ar-Rahman (Verses 1–78)
- Known as “The Beauty of the Quran”
- Repeats the verse:
“So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?” (55:13)
- Describes the blessings of:
- Creation
- Earth and skies
- Jannah (Paradise)
- Punishment for sinners
- Tells of two Gardens for those who fear Allah.
“And for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens.” (55:46)
6. Surah Al-Hadid (Verses 1–29)
- Emphasizes that Allah controls everything.
- Encourages believers to give charity and do good deeds.
- Describes light given to believers on the Day of Judgment.
- Hypocrites will be left in darkness.
“The Day when you will see the believing men and women with their light shining ahead of them…” (57:12)
